At ESPC, we are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to head up our busy Finance Team, deal with all financial matters and play a key role in our Senior Management Team to continue to build our enhance our outstanding reputation.

The job

Alongside taking ownership of financial control, planning, reporting and governance you will manage and support a team of two Finance Assistants, participate in weekly senior management meetings and present quarterly forecasts to our Board.

The requirements

We’re looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA/CPA/CIMA) with excellent communication skills and proven experience of leading or mentoring a team. You will have substantial experience of management accounts and business models, accounting software packages, year-end audit processes and statutory financial reporting requirements. The role would develop over time to incorporate Company Secretary duties such as organising Board meetings and management of the risk register.

A great team player and critical thinker you will also show initiative and attention to detail.

Although based at home you would be required to live within a commutable distance and attend regular meetings in Edinburgh city centre and Edinburgh Park.

You’ll receive a competitive salary depending on experience plus, post-probation, be eligible for a discretionary annual company bonus.
