Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail
If you’ve walked past the ESPC Information Centre recently, you might have noticed that we have a visitor…. Jings, crivens, help ma boab! It’s only Oor Wullie, who has arrived to keep us company for the summer months.
ESPC is delighted to take part in Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail – Scotland’s first ever national public art trail which aims to unite the country as it raises awareness and vital funds for Scotland’s children’s hospital charities.
Our statue, designed by the talented Alice Newman, is called Oor Rail Bridge. So, come along, say hi and take a few photos with your favourite Dundonian, just like Team ESPC did. Make sure to tag ESPC, Oor Wullie’s Big Bucket Trail and Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity in your photos with Oor Rail Bridge, on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and use the hashtag #OWBBT.
And don’t forget to pop into our Information Centre where you can pick up an Oor Wullie BIG Bucket Trail map to find the other statues, located across Edinburgh as well as in Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness. You can also download the OWBBT app.
The trail is on until the 30th August 2019. The statues will then be auctioned off, and all the funds raised will go towards Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity and the ARCHIE Foundation, whose work supports children in hospital across the country.
